The structure

The structure of St. Paterniano is completely in stone square sandstone. In the various ones has they are also found some stones worked coming from the old preexisting pagan temple and from other constructions of the zone.

And' easy to notice in the structure the various rehashes performed during the centuries with traces of doors and open windows and then closed again. The part external preserve still a lot of native structures, as in the northern side there are two portals, the smallest of which it symmetrically has four protomis, probably of bare.

The door of entry of the church is ancient and authentic above which an arc can be admired with floral inlays. Above the entry of the church a bifora is found.
